Over 40 active facility and infrastructure capital projects are underway at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign this summer. These construction activities and upgrades are vital to meeting the university’s strategic goals and include classroom and laboratory renovations, elevator modernizations, roof replacements, accessibility improvements, transportation network repairs, life-safety advancements, restroom enhancements, and utilities system revitalization in support of energy production, distribution, and conservation efforts.
