Asphalt patching work will necessitate intermittent closures on Frist Street.
To complete asphalt patching, the City of Champaign Public Works Department will close First Street between Daniel Street and Armory Avenue intermittently starting Tuesday, June 3. The work is expected to be completed on Friday, June 6, weather permitting. During the closures, both northbound and southbound traffic on First Street will be detoured around the area.
